Coffee Can Drumming
We love coffee can drumming! This week 2nd, 4th and 6th grades have drummed up a fun time in music. We've created ostinatos, drummed through Poison Rhythms, written our own winter rhythm songs and more.
I love your coffee can drumming idea! I was thinking of starting bucket drumming this year with my older kids. We would use those big paint buckets and drum sticks. Have you ever done that before?
Anyhoo- I love following you! Join me over at http://staytunedmusicteacher.blogspot.ca !
Thanks for stopping by! I haven't used buckets very much just because I don't have them. In addition to the coffee cans I use those big laundry tubs with the rope handles that you can find at Walmart and Target. They make a beautiful bass sound!
